Executive Secretary

Overview: Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.

Degree(s): A.A.S. Medical Office Assistant  
Job Outlook: Employment of executive secretaries is expected to grow as fast as average through 2018. Best prospects will go to those with extensive software application experience. Best industries will be health care, social assistance, legal, construction, education services, professional, scientific and executive.
