|Overview:||Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.|
|Degree(s):||A.A.S. Management: Marketing Concentration
A.S. Business Administration (Accounting and Marketing)
|Job Outlook:||Employment of plant managers is expected to moderately decline through 2018 as a result of improved productivity, automation, and increased imports of manufactured goods. Most of the decision making work of plant managers cannot be automated, a factor that will limit the decline in their employment.|
|Education Level:||The typical training required for this career is generally a High School Degree or GED Certificate.|
