Overview: Sort mail for delivery. Deliver mail on established route by vehicle or on foot.

A.A.S. Office Administration and Technology: Office Technology: Word/Information Processing 
Job Outlook: Employment of postal service mail carriers is expected to slowly decline through 2018 due to the increase in automatic mail sorting and the reduced consumer demand for mail service as consumers increasingly use the Internet for communication and bill paying.

Education Level: The typical training required for this career is generally a High School Degree or GED Certificate.
