Sales Representative (Instruments)

Overview: Sell precision instruments, such as dynamometers and spring scales, and laboratory, navigation, and surveying instruments.
Duties:
Degree(s): A.A.S. Management: Marketing Concentration 
A.A.S. Management: Real Estate-Insurance Concentration 
A.S. Business Administration (Accounting and Marketing) 
Job Outlook: Employment of sales representatives (instruments) is expected to grow as fast as average through 2018. Job growth will result from the continued expansion in the variety and number of products sold and sales representatives will be needed to accommodate this expansion. Sales representatives can help ensure that retailers offer the latest products to their customers and businesses acquire the tools they need to increase their efficiency.
Education Level: Training for this occupation generally requires an Associate Degree from a 2 year or community college.
