Financial Services Sales Agent

Overview: Sell financial services, such as loan, tax, and securities counseling to customers of financial institutions and business establishments.
Duties:
Degree(s): A.A. Liberal Arts and Sciences 
A.S. Liberal Arts and Sciences (Mathematics and Science) 
A.A.S. Accounting 
A.A.S. Management: Marketing Concentration 
A.A.S. Management: Real Estate-Insurance Concentration 
A.S. Business Administration (Accounting and Marketing) 
Job Outlook: Employment of financial services sales agents will grow as fast as average through 2018. Affecting growth is the consolidation of the financial industry and the deregulation of financial markets which fostered competition between traditional banks and securities companies. However many banks and brokerages now offer banking and investment services in one place.
Education Level: Training for this occupation generally requires an Associate Degree from a 2 year or community college.
